Salman to marry Katrina in next year

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have been an item for a long time now, but they have never really talked about their relationship inspite of their regular Public Displays of Affection. But now Sallu is getting bold and bolder with his ladylove as he has revealed to the world that he might settle down in 2009, of course with Katrina Kaif.

When quizzed in an interview about his marriage plans he said, Next year, “I’m settling down in 2009 and would like to become a father immediately.”

When asked if the lucky girl would be Katrina he said, “She’s my girlfriend, so, yeah.”

Actor Nitin Injured

Young actor Nitin while shooting for his latest film Drona, accidentally got injured on his face. The accident happened while an action sequence is being picturized at Ramoji Film City. Nitin who got hit by a broken tube light on the face and was left bleeding and the crew hurried him to Apollo Hospital. Doctors who treated Nitin said that the injuries are minor and there is nothing to be worried about.

These days Nitin has been concentrating too hard to make a mark as an action hero. He developed six pack abs and taking risks to bring the real look to his stunts. As a part of that risk he is now hospitalized. Hope his hard work pays off at least this time.

Pyramid Saimira to release 'TAARE ZAMEEN PAR' in tamil and telugu

Pyramid Saimira Entertainment Limited, Singapore, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Pyramid Saimira Group, has bagged the worldwide distribution rights of the Tamil and Telugu versions of the super-hit Hindi film, TAARE ZAMEEN PAR. The movie, dubbed into Tamil and Telugu, will be released in the month of September. The Tamil version of the movie will be called VAL NATCHATTIRAM, while the Telugu version of the movie will be called NELAMEEDI THARALU. Well-known actor Surya has finished dubbing for Aamir Khan in the Tamil version.

Speaking about the development, Mr. Mukesh Metha, Distribution Head of Pyramid Saimira, said, ’’TAARE ZAMEEN PAR is one of the most sensitively made films in recent times. Barring a few, not many children-oriented films have done very well in India. The relationship between a differently-abled child and his teacher has been portrayed thoughtfully in TAARE ZAMMEN PAR and the movie has addressed the subject in a very scientific manner. The movie in Hindi has proved that even good off beat themes and good stories can become a commercial hit. Pyramid Saimira is consistently bringing good films consciously and we feel that this film will prove a major success in Tamil & Telugu as well.’’

Kareena Kapoor all set to rock Hollywood?

This, it looks like, will be the big year of Kareena Kapoor! In her new size zero avatar adding considerable oomph value to her drop-dead gorgeous looks, the actress is making heads turn internationally.

Last week at Universal Studios in LA, where she is shooting with Akshay Kumar for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kambakht Ishq, Kareena caught Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone’s attention!

The Rocky and Rambo actor, who has a bit part in the film, was taken in by her beauty and apparently has not stopped talking about the Indian actress.

Hollywood agents, quick to follow Stallone’s cue, began dropping in on Nadiadwala’s sets to check out Kareena and have been making inquires about her. Sources say the Bollywood hottie has had a few hush-hush meetings with some top Hollywood executives and is likely to be making a big career announcement soon.

When media asked Kareena about this, she replied non-commitally, “It’s the right time for Bollywood with so many avenues and doors opening up on a global scale. The possibilities are immense. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed.”

But it’s not only through Kambakth Ishq that the actress has gone global.She recently did the cover of an international magazine for which she was styled by Nicole Kidman’s stylist Desiree and shot by famous fashion photographer, Trevor Leighton.

Besides, international R&B and pop icon Sean Kingston has also mentioned her as Bollywood’s numero uno in the remake of his chartbuster Beautiful Girls, now named Bollywood Girls.
