Salman Khan Next Heroine ‘Daisy Shah’!

After a few speculative renders on the leading lady of Salman Khan's tentatively titled upcoming project 'Mental', there seems to be a concrete news to have surfaced.

Daisy Shah, who is widely known as choreographer Ganesh Acharya's assistant and for her roles in a few South films, has grabbed the opportunity, as per the reports from a trade weekly.

Though the film's director and producer Sohail Khan was keen in signing Cocktail star Diana Penty or Karishma Kotak, is is Daisy Shah who has emerged victorious in bagging the dream role.

As a matter of fact Daisy Shah has played the female lead of the 2011 Kannada remake of 'Bodyguard' opposite Jaggesh.

Sources also have disclosed that Salman Khan has done a photoshoot with Daisy Shah at his farmhouse and is keen in projecting her profile to the other film makers of Bollywood. We all know how Katrina enjoyed Sallu bhai's support and now its Daisy's turn to make it big in Bollywood with the same.

With the film's leading lady being confirmed, details on the film's support cast and technical crew is expected to be finalized soon.

Salman Khan plans to open Restaurants and Hospitals!

Salman Khan may have been involved in many incidents and people may think that he can be a big rowdy, may be, but he also has a heart of gold and without asking, he fulfills the wishes of the ‘not so fortunate people’.

Aiming to help the poor people in areas of education, healthcare and others, Salman, runs a charitable organisation Being Human. Recently, the actor revealed that he is now planning to open restaurants and hospitals for a noble cause.

According to Salman, "We will start restaurants in metros first...We will open first in Mumbai and Pune and so on. The profits earned from them will go to the needy people living in metros. We will tie-up with someone who has the same kind of ideology... we are doing all this for a noble cause." Several B-town actors like Suneil Shetty, Dino Morea, Arjun Rampal and Mithun Chakraborty are already into hotel and restaurant business.

Salman insist that his new venture is not for business but for a noble cause and he also intends to enter into healthcare segment by opening hospitals. "We want people to come eat, drink and that is how they will in a way do charity. So when you are wearing something, eating or drinking something you are doing your bit of charity, it is all going to help people towards education and healthcare," said Khan.

The actor on thursday opened the first 'Being Human' flagship store that has a clothing line and accessories.

"I think this is the worst ever business proposition that anyone can be in. I am happy that I have found like-minded people who are interested in not earning the profit but to be associated with the brand and keep little for themselves and do more charity. So this is all about 'Being Human'," he said.

Salman Khan’s Rs. 500 crore deal!

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan is currently ruling the roost at the box office. Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2 poster first look!

Dabangg star Salman Khan revealed the first look poster of Dabangg 2 on Facebook, on Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Well, the wait is soon going to come to an end as the film’s teaser and trailer will be released along with Ajay Devgn starrer Son Of Sardar, on November 13.

Talking about the poster, well, the caption screams out loud, “Here Comes Chulbul Pandey”. It also sees Salman Khan in khakis, holding his shattered aviator sunglasses, behind. If you’ve noticed, the glasses are not heart shaped, this time. The female lead, Sonakshi Sinha is not featured on the poster.

Now, here is a piece of good news for all the Salman fans. If you can’t wait till Nov 13, to have a glimpse of Dabangg 2, then don’t miss the Salman Khan-hosted telly show Bigg Boss 6, this Friday, as the star is all set to release the film’s teaser on November 9, Friday, on the show.

Dabangg 2 will hit theaters on December 21. The film is expected to open big, with very very high expectations, as the film’s first installment, Dabangg was a blockbuster. Kareena Kapoor has an item number in the film, which is titled, Fevicol. The filming of the item track is over.

Dabangg 2 is the debut directorial of Arbaaz Khan who is also the producer of the film.

Katrina Kaif as ballet dancer in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’!

Katrina Kaif who is working with her ex boyfriend Salman Khan in Ek Tha Tiger, Kabir Khan's direction is doing an interesting role in the film.
The film sees her playing the character Zoya, a ballet dancer. While Salman Khan plays a secret agent in the film, the film's initial shoot was shot in Dublin at the Trinity College.

In the film she learns the dance form and also teaches fellow students. Some of the dance forms we hear has been shot in London's Trinity College.

While some of the shots that the film unit had released as part of its promotions oozes chemistry between the lead, another buzz is that a magazine Cineblitz in its July 2012 issue had quoted saying that Salman Khan had beaten Katrina Kaif & used abusive language since he was upset of Kat wearing a figure hugging, cleavage revealing dress for the shoot of the film and their argument is said t have taken place inside Kat's vanity van.

While a friend close to Katrina deny such reports as rubbish. We wonder if its a publicity stunt, or just a goofed up cover story for creating sensationalism!

Dabangg 2 shooting starts!

The shooting for Dabangg 2 resumes today, after the accident on the sets on Saturday.

The film's producer-director Arbaaz Khan says the injured are fine. "They suffered blunt injuries. It will take them a few days to heal. They will soon be discharged from hospital. We packed up shooting after the injury. But we resume from Monday."

Says Arbaaz, "Salman wasn't shooting. But he was on the set. He had come to see the shot. A mishap occurred when an action sequence was being shot without the actors. The stunt went a bit awry and three people got injured. They were immediately rushed to hospital."

Said Arbaaz, "Accidents do happen in spite of all the precautions taken. Thankfully the injury was all blunt and everyone is okay. But such an incident is very disturbing."

All is well between Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan!

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s is a classic case of exes continuing to stay good friends and in this case Katrina Kaif seems to be in the mood to do anything to maintain that friendship with Khan and his khandaan (family).

Katrina Kaif, who had earlier said that she’s grateful to the Khan family for being so generous to her when she entered the industry, seems to be in a mood to return the favour.

So she shot a song for free in Atul Agnihotri’s film, “Bodyguard”. The song which goes, Aaya Re Aaya Bodyguard…, is touted as Katrina’s first item number, post the very successful Sheila Ki Jawani.

Though there is every chance that the song would surely add to the entertainment value of the movie, some things clearly go beyond money for the actress.

Producer Atul Agnihotri confirms, “It is very gracious of her to have done this. She has always been very supportive of our work and is ready to contribute in whatever way possible”.

Interestingly, this is not the only time Katrina Kaif has gone that extra mile to keep up her friendship with the Khan family.

Atul further adds, “We have all known her for years now and she is part of our family. Even in my earlier movie Hello, she had to do a guest appearance and did it free of cost”.

Though Salman Khan has admitted to not really having watched a single movie of Katrina’s, the actress makes sure she invites Salman’s sister Alvira for every special screening of her movies.

According to a source, “Just before the release of her movie Raajneeti, even when rumours were rife that all is not well between Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan, she made sure she invited Alvira for her preview”.

Salman Khan plot the Ranbir-Katrina split-up?

According to a report in Open magazine penned by a senior journalist with an apparent inside info on the juicy happenings in tinsel town, the reason for the break-up between Ranbir and Katrina is that he came to know about a secret visit she made to Salman when the latter was shooting his film Bodyguard in Pune.

Salman Khan Refuse To Perform With Katrina Kaif

Salman Khan, who is currently shooting in Bangkok for “Ready”, has opted out of the closing ceremont of the 34th National Games show at Ranchi, to be held on Saturday 26 February.
The actor sent a word to the origanizers saying her will not be available on that day. Incidentally, Salman Khan’s girlfriend Katrina Kaif and his ‘good friend’, German model Claudia Ciesla will perform at the same show. Meanwhile, Claudia has started participating in the Shahrukh Khan Zor Ka Jhatka, an episode with he rwas aired on 12 February.

The show happens to be hosted by Shahrukh Khan, not believed to be very thick with Salman. Confirming that the actor will not make it to show, a source says, “Sallu may have not wanted to share the stage with Katrina”.

We hear, Salman opted out of the show saying that he will not fly down from Bangkok as was planned earlier and that he was too busy shooting there. When contacted, Katrina told, “Yes I am performing, as it was decided two months ago. I was always going to do it. Nodbody else was”.

However, Claudia confirmed that Salman Khan was supposed to perform at Ranchi on 26 February but added, rather diplimatically, “Salman was supposed to come and I know that he is not coming now. But I really donot know why he backed out”.

At the time of going to press, Salman’s spokesperson called and said, “It was never ever discussed, leave alone committed. He was always meant to be in Bangkok for Ready around this time”.

Salman Khan promised to stay away from alcohol!

Bollywood star Salman Khan is not less than any other star when it comes to dedication and he has proved it recently. The actor has promised to stay away from alcohol until he finishes the shooting of his next film My Love Story, which is being made by his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri.

According to the reports, Salman had gathered lots of extra kilos during the shooting of Dabangg, which showed him as a 45 year old corrupt police officer. He could not get rid of that weight till now so he is ready for the hard work out now.

Salman confirmed the news saying that he enjoys his boozing sessions but after the grand success of ‘Bigg Boss 4’ and Dabangg, he has become very conscious. It wasn’t so much for Aishwarya Rai as for good friend Sanjay Leela Bhansali that super star Salman Khan agreed to watch Guzaarish.

Not just did he agree to watch the film but also invited a lot of people to the special screening. We hear that Bhansali, who is very fond of Salman, willingly sent the actor a print of Guzaarish. He wanted to know what Salman thought of the film.

Former actresses Sadhna, Waheeda Rahman, Nanda and Asha Parekh saw the film.

‘My Love Story’ To Release In 2011

Like Aamir Khan seems to have a monopoly on the Christmas weekend, Salman Khan seems to have monopolized the festival Eid week for his releases. Its a known fact that Aamir Khan has released his movies in the Christmas weekend — Taare Zameen Par (2007), Ghajini (2008), and 3 Idiots (2009) — and the results are astounding.

Similarly, Salman Khan has been lucky during Eid, with both Wanted (2009) and Dabangg (2010) proving mega hits. Now, Salman Khan and his producers have decided to continue with the trend of releasing the actor’s new films on the festive occasion of Eid. Although Salman’s brother in law Atul Agnihotri has not started shooting his next venture “My Love Story” (remake of the Malayalam hit Bodyguard), he has already decided to bring the film in Eid (2011).

Prior to that Salman Khan will have one more film hitting the screens — Bhushan Kumar’s Ready, directed by Anees Bazmee and costarring Asin. Bhushan states, “We will release Ready in Summer 2011″.

Salman Khan is Sonakshi's inspiration!

The transition from a fashion designer to a debutante opposite Bollywood superstar Salman Khan  happened so fast that Sonakshi Sinha says she is still short for words.

Sonakshi who plays the coy Rajo in "Dabangg" releasing next month considers herself extremely lucky to be part of the project.

"Dabangg was a whole lot smoother process for me because Salman was there as a mentor and guide," she said.

"Most people opt for the glamour way to begin with but the role of Rajo was something I couldn't refuse.

Dabangg has been a perfect platform for me and very few people get that in their very first film," the 23-year-old actress said.

Sonakshi says the film is a perfect package with just the right producer, director, script, her co-star and mentor Salman Khan.

"Salman is an amazing co-star to have. Never once did he make me feel like a newcomer. He is always full of inputs, advice and inspiration. Our families have known each other for a while now so the comfort level has always been there. He has always pushed me to better myself in every way, be it fitness, acting and even overall personality," Sonakshi says.

Clashes between Aishwarya and Salman Khan

Salman’s upcoming movie Dabanng is released on August 10. However he is going to face celluloid competition from none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Aishwarya’s The Robot is expected to be released on the same day.

The promos of Dabanng have shaped a type of deal outbreak. The movie has captured the thoughts of the ‘tapori’ class and the small tradesmen. The film’s promo has bagged the maximum number of hits on an internet site, according to a TV journalist. The movie is touted to have a smash hit success at the box office.

The Robot features Rajinikanth-Aishwarya would be released both in Tamil and Hindi.

The movie also would be released in September, however whether release dates of the movies clash or not is yet to be seen.

The ‘clash’ should be interesting; as Salman-Aishwarya dated once upon a time. They had a bitter break up and maybe its fate that might just fancy them to cross paths yet again.

Salman and Katrina Kaif seems to have drifted!
