Kareena Kapoor is not only adding glam to her upcoming flick Kambaqt Ishq by wearing a bathsuit, she has also indulged in a steamy liplock with co-actor Akshay Kumar in the movie.Now our young Bebo was not quite comfortable with the idea of kissing her 40+ year old co-star, the reason was that Akki was elder sister Lolo’s leading man during her hey days and Kareena was only a 12-year-old little kid who would shy away from Akki whenever she accompanied Karisma to her shootings.

Koena Mitra is known for love for biking and has already had two bikes. She gave up biking when she met with an accident but now she has decided to pursue her hobby yet again. So, she has just bought herself a Trek Madone 6.9 PRO road bike and plans to go biking with her friends at midnight.The actress says, “I wanted to buy a BMW bicycle but apparently they are not safe for road trips. My bike is red, white and blue with big wheels and a completely carbon frame body. It’s foldable and built for sturdy terrain so I can take it with me when I am travelling. I love bikes. People were sceptical when I bought it but I’ve always been into swimming and bike riding.” She adds, “In Kolkata, I had two bikes till I had an accident and had to give them up. In Mumbai, I rode a Yamaha until a few years back. Today I have a collections of video games which include car racing and football simulations.

My collection includes all kinds of racing games from helicopters to cars, cycles and bikes. They all have to do with racing and I am good at it. I find more adventure playing video games and going biking than in games like badminton and tennis.” Talking about her interests and friends, she says, She adds, “All my male friends are into fitness and though I go gymming and swimming, I find yoga and spinning at the gym very boring. I would rather go out biking with my friends at midnight for coffee. There’s less pollution then and I get to burn calories. Monday nights, I go to a hotel at Juhu as it’s open till late but I never go out alone at night on my bike. I am a late night person and always loved doing crazy things. Racing and biking at midnight or during the monsoon fits the bill.”

Ash continues to do better as an actress and India’s international face, perfecting even the Cannes red carpet walk where she ended up as a head turner just recently. At the same time she continues to play good daughter-in-law and a dutiful daughter as well.The actress who explained how and why she still stayed with her parents at the Oprah Winfrey show four years ago is still very much a child to her parents. Reportedly she’s now so scared by her dad’s illness that she makes it a point to be at his bedside, at the first opportunity that she can grab. Of late she’s been living out of suitcases and fulfilling her many commitments. She met Abhishek’s Nani before heading off to Cannes and after her return took a break to be with her father. She reached on Monday from Cannes and decided to break her journey to spend a day with her parents. She said: "It was something I had to do. I did it more for myself than for them." The recent film she’s working on is Vipul Shah’s ’Action Replay’ opposite Akshay Kumar, the shooting of which is happening in Karjat.

A source close to the actress informed: "Shooting in Karjat for prolonged periods is not new to Aishwarya. For ’Jodhaa Akbar’, she was stationed in Karjat for so long that it became her second home. But now circumstances have changed. After her father’s illness, Aishwarya doesn’t like to be away from Mumbai for prolonged periods. Even when she was shooting in the jungles of Kerala for Mani Ratnam, Aishwarya made sure she visited Mumbai to be with her father." The source added: "Though she never lets it show in her work, being away from home is very difficult for her now and she would like to shoot as much as possible in Mumbai. Ironically, almost all her films are being shot outside the city." She also bonded with people from the industry who are traumatised by terminal illnesses of parents. A source added: "Aishwarya kept track of Feroz Khan’s health through Fardeen. When he passed away, she was deeply affected. At the prayer meeting Fardeen and Aishwarya exchanged notes." Well, must say Ash keeps proving the fact everyday that she’s a woman who can balance her personal and professional life well, and be a good career woman and a daughter, wife, daughter-in-law, sister et al at the same time.

Asin Thottumkal is finally ready to live independently. She recently moved out of her parents’ Lokhandwala apartment and has shifted into her own house at Green Acres, which is in the same locality. The actress permanently shifted base from Kerala to Mumbai once she made her mark in Bollywood with Ghajini after which she bagged films like London Dreams and The 19th Step among others. A close friend of Asin said, "She has been house hunting since 2007. It took her two years to move out of her parents’ house. She decided to stay by herself the day she turned 21." Asin doesn’t plan to hire an interior designer. "She is busy doing up her new house as she is determined to design it just the way she likes it.

Asin has decided to keep the interiors young and contemporary with minimal furniture as she doesn’t want too much clutter," added the friend. Asin said, "I had been looking for a house for a very long time. The back-to-back shooting and travel schedules kept me extremely busy. Finally, I have shifted into my own apartment and I am very happy with it." Incidentally, Sridevi and Tabu live in the same society.

At the IPL finale in Johannesburg on Sunday, Katrina Kaif promises a scintillating performance to the beats of the Oscar-winning ‘Jai Ho!’.The Bollywood beauty has been training under the guidance of choreographer Shiamak Davar for her big performance at the Wanderers Stadium. “To be able to perform in front of millions of people is going to be a different high. It’ll be like walking the dream. It’s the biggest televised show and who won’t be excited!” Katrina recently told a newspaper. Katrina will perform to A R Rahman’s ‘Jai Ho’ besides other songs. The leggy Shilpa Shetty would also jive to a medley of songs.

Interestingly, Katrina is the brand ambassador of Royal Challengers Bangalore and her team would have to take on and win over Chennai Superkings in the second semifinal before battling the Deccan Chargers in the final on Sunday. Shilpa, on the other hand, is the co-owner of Rajasthan Royals who are out of the tournament. Earlier, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor were also slated to perform but now their act has been cancelled. Rather, the finale would see performances from British reggae singer Eddy Grant and American R&B artiste Akon. There would also be the crowning of Miss Bollywood IPL.

Whether the men were feeling left out in the girl-on-girl action or they were genuinely upset over the open display of lesbianism is not clear. But the photo shoot had to be called off. According to Neetu’s version of what happened, the men were “a frustrated lot” who “only saw nudity”. The actress says when they tried to catch her attention first, she acknowledged them, but later as she became busy with the shoot and ignored them, tempers flared and the agitation began. Neetu says she started to worry when the whole episode took a political turn and the group started yelling communal slogans. Meanwhile, ‘The Man’ magazine seems untouched by the whole hoopla and has decided to print the images in the June edition which will hit the stands soon.

Shahid Kapur says he doesn’t mind working with ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor if a filmmaker wanted him to.“I would like to work with her again. I feel that as an actor if my producer wants me to romance with a cow or a buffalo also, I’ll do it because that’s my job,” Shahid said on Zee News’ celebrity chat show Kahiye Janab. Shahid and Kareena teamed up for three films. While Fida and Chup Chup Ke bombed at the box office, Jab We Met was a blockbuster. Sadly, their relationship soured while shooting for this romantic comedy. Now Shahid is linked with India’s tennis star Sania Mirza. Asked about Sania, he said: “She is a very good friend of mine, but I don’t want to discuss my personal life.”

Hrithik Roshan has made news for a lip-lock again, this time with Latin co-star Barbara Mori in Kites. But the actor says she helped him discard his inhibitions and they kissed like real-life couples."Why are we even talking about kissing? Is that such a big deal? Hasn't our cinema grown up? Yes, there are kissing scenes in the film, but nothing to make me squirm. In fact, I'd be more than happy and completely comfortable watching those kissing scenes with my wife, son and parents when the film is released," Hrithik said.
The star had scorched the headlines when he locked lips with Aishwarya Rai in Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa Akbar.

Rationalising the need to look at lip-locking, Hrithik said, "Kites is a love story. It's about people in love. And what do people in love do to express their mutual feelings? In fact, it was Barbara Mori who made me realise how silly we look on screen while shying away from expressing love naturally."

It happened while Hrithik and Barbara were shooting a tough and dangerous action sequence in Santa Fe, New Mexico in the US.

"We were both supposed to jump off from a rooftop at an impossible height. Before we did so our director Anurag Basu suggested I kiss Barbara since we were doing something death-defying and dangerous and potentially lethal. I reached out and kissed her on the cheeks. Barbara turned around to ask why I had kissed her on the cheek. 'Given the same situation with your real-life wife, Suzanne, would you kiss her on the cheek?' I was floored by her logic," said Hrithik.

The take was repeated. "And this time I kissed her the way real-life couples would in the situation. On the lips," said Hrithik.

I shot for a non-stop month-long shooting schedule for Jag Mundhra’s Apartment but now I have a 20-day break before I resume shooting. So I decided to go along." As far as styling is concerned, Tanushree says she’s looking like a hippie. "I have picked up pajamas from here and chappals from the streets. The only things that I carried from Mumbai were my purse with money and my shades. This has been my wildest trip yet! My friends are not even letting me sleep! I have surrendered my fate in the hands of my friends."

Apparently the bungalow is still under construction and the work will be finished by the coming month.

Even as Royal Challengers Bangalore struggle to secure a place in the semi-finals of the ongoing IPL, it’s brand ambassador Katrina Kaif is cheering on the team from home.The Bollywood beauty has embarked on a nationwide campaign called “Meet And Greet Katrina Kaif” to keep the interest of cricket fans alive in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament in South Africa and to particularly raise the morale of Royal Challengers Bangalore, which is performing better than last year but still not good enough. At the promotional event held in Bangalore, Katrina said though she’s not cheering the team in South Africa, she’s happy to cheer from home where all fans are. “…the silver lining is that I am cheering for my team with fans!

It feels better cheering for them from home, as not everyone can afford to travel to all the venues to watch their team play,” Katrina said at the event. When asked about her team’s chances of reaching the finals, Katrina was optimistic. “I will continue to cheer for the Royal Challengers and believe we have a chance to win the finals. My favourite cricketer is Rahul Dravid, who I believe is a true gentleman,” Katrina revealed. Katrina, who had been shooting her film De Dana Dan in Singapore before flying to Bangalore, added that she’s been watching all the matches in the IPL so far.

The movie ‘Prem Ka Game’ is about a married man who has entered the boring phase of his marital life and faces the “seven year of itch”. It’s a light-hearted comedy.But there’s no such itch in the married life of Arbaaz and Malaika who have successfully completed their 10 years of marriage and are considered one of the steady couples in Bollywood.

Shahrukh Khan is called King Khan not without any reason. He makes his presence felt wherever he goes. The cricket stadiums in South Africa looked more lively a few days ago than it is now. The reason is, Shahrukh is back in India and is not cheering for his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders. Will he return to South Africa? Very unlikely.Well, the ever-energetic Shahrukh returned home mainly for two reasons - to vote for the Lok Sabha and get relief from the pain of watching his team go down time and again. He added that he had told his boys to go out and have fun. In spite of doing very badly in the IPL season 2, the fact remains that Kolkata Knight Riders has the biggest brand value at $42.1 million. However, Shahrukh is worried in spite of the money flow, as he knew that his team should perform well to live up to it. At the moment, he is not in the mood to decide the future course of the team. He just wants to stay away from them to take the pressure off their shoulders!

Mugdha Godse took everyone by surprise with her performance in ‘Fashion’. Now, the actress is busy with the shoot of ‘Jail’.Mugdha met with a tragic car accident on Tuesday afternoon while she was going to Pune to visit her parents. Her car, a black Skoda, skidded off the Expressway and was severely damaged. Mugdha was admitted to a hospital in Pune. She and her driver are fine now.
“I was to fly to Goa for to shoot for Jail and wanted to visit my parents before that,” she said adding, “”The doctor has advised me complete bed-rest for the next few days.”

Under the supervision of medical team, director Manirathnam would start shooting his film Raavan’s climax portion from 25th of May across the thick forests of Chalakudy, Kerala. The climax was previously planned to be shot on 20th of April but due to Manirathnam’s health condition the shoot was called off. But now with the ace director back to normal health, the crew of the flick is all set to meet up again and start shooting for the climax after which they would be shooting the remaining talkie portions extensively in Bangalore. Mani is planning to complete the shooting by month of June and releasing it by mid of this year. We wish Manirathnam and his film a healthy and prosperous journey ahead.

But she’d reportedly be a guest commentator in the forthcoming T20 world cup to promote her next release Love Aaj Kal by director Imtiaz Ali . According to reports, Deepika will be in London along with co-star Saif Ali Khan to catch all the cricket action live during the T20 World Cup matches and to promote ‘Love Aaj Kal’ - the maiden venture of Saif’s production house, Illuminati Films.

Saif is not leaving any stone unturned to promote his first project. He has extensive overseas publicity plans for ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and since T20 is starting from June 5th, the actor-producer has planned a special celebrity cricket match around that time. So Kareena Kapoor won’t mind handling a bat and Ranbir Kapoor may bowl Deepika out. The match will be between veterans who will represent Kal (Yesterday), and today’s generation representing Aaj, going along with theme of ‘Love Aaj Kal’ which deals with the differences between today’s love and the way love existed three-four generations back. The two teams will be lead by Saif and Deepika, respectively. Well, we can expect some genuine cricketainment.

While promoting his film about Indian media in New Delhi, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan said he would like to be a journalist, if not an actor. “I would like to be a journalist. In fact in my interviews that I had given in the 1970s, I mentioned during most of them that I want to become a journalist in my next life,” Amitabh told reporters on Wednesday while promoting his upcoming film Rann with Ram Gopal Varma . The movie is about Indian media and how it’s manipulated. The 66-year-old star who has been castigating the media and journalists on his blog www.bigb.bigadda.com, said he felt a journalist’s job was a difficult one. “I say this because I feel that it is a very difficult task since sometimes your conscience doesn’t match with reality and that’s where you want to go home and tear yourself apart and take a decision,” he added.

Meanwhile, Ram Gopal Varma, true to his nature, raked up a controversy at the press meet by playing the film’s theme song which seemed to tinker with the National Anthem. "Jana gana mana rann hai. Is rann mein zakhmi hua hai Bahrat ka bhaagya vidhaata?" goes the lyric of the film’s title track. The director in his own words has included the lines of the national anthem to describe the "bad situation" of the present day India. Answering questions about his decision to reinterpret the national anthem, Varma said that his attempt should not be termed as unpatriotic. “I have not tinkered with the anthem or treated it in a disrespectful manner. The song is just a medium to express the angst against the current situation in the country. Please do not try to create a controversy where there is none,” Varma told the reporters. Even Mr. Bachchan, who plays the head of a 24-hour news channel in the film, defended Varma’s decision, saying, “I trust the director’s decision and I am sure that he has taken adequate caution before going ahead with the song.” Besides Big B, the movie also stars Ritesh Deshmukh and Paresh Rawal .

The lovers watched a few movies and pampered their taste buds when an unexpected two-day break fell into their lap.Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have been shooting director Rensil D’Silva’s film Jihad in New York. The duo have been shooting continuously but got a two-day break in their hectic shooting schedule, thanks to co-star Vivek Oberoi . Vivek, who plays a moderate Muslim in the film, reportedly had a lot of solo scenes to shoot.

The actor asked the director to shoot them all in a stretch for two days. This left Saif and Kareena with two free days to enjoy the New York life. The duo went out and saw some movies and ate out at their favourite restaurant. Kareena says it was all possible because of Vivek, with whom she first worked in Yuva . Today, Kareena sees Vivek as a friend and calls him “sweet” and “considerate”. Soon, Saif and Kareena will finish the New York schedule of ‘Jihad’ and head for a summer holiday in Italy. Seems like the two lovers can’t have enough of each other.
