Esha Deol who is said to be dating Mumbai based businessman Bharat Takhtani for the past 13 months will be getting engaged to him on Sunday, 12th February 2012, two days before Valentine's day.

There was a buzz earlier that she will be announcing her engagement and Wedding after the release their home production Tell Me Oh Khhuda. Now it is official. The two will be exchanging rings.

This month indeed seems to an affair for weddings and engagement. After Ritesh Genelia's grand star studded Marriage, now Bollywood is gearing for David Dhawan's son Rohit Dhawan's marriage in Goa.

A source from Esha Deol's household, was reported to have told media, "As for the engagement, it's going to be a very personal celebration. Not too many people have been invited."

Hemamalini about the wedding date says, "I shall tell you as and when we zero down on the date. Just because we are film stars does not mean we have to announce everything beforehand. We are working towards it. That's all I shall say for now."

The newly wedded couple are all set to shift to the new house they bought in the suburbs. Designed by Riteish and approved by Genelia, it seems the flat reflects both their tastes.

As per sources this glamorous B-town couple have chosen to stay separately and not with their families after their wedding. While Riteish is known to be a family oriented guy who has spent his bachelorhood in the Deshmukh mansion, even the D’Souza chick is known to be quite attached to her parents. But now that the two have tied the knot, they are coming to terms with taking decisions a married life entails. Hence as the two have made up their minds on taking the nuclear family route, the buzz that’s doing the rounds is that the two are still pondering over moving into their humble abode. It seems Riteish’s family wasn’t very keen on their marriage initially ‘coz they come from two completely different backgrounds – Riteish is a Maharashtrian while Genelia is a Goan-catholic but they later accepted their son’s choice. But after a week full of celebrations and partying, we wonder if the groom’s parents will give their nod to this big decision taken by the couple. Nevertheless, we think if Riteish and Gen have convinced their families so far, they will continue doing so in the future as well!
