Director Maniratnam who has been in news for his last release Kadal, which did not do as expected at the box office and the distributors are asking for money is now said to be reviving his old dusted project. Mani who was supposed to do a film Lajjo with Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan is said to be now planning to do the same and is in talks with the actor. We hear that he recently held a meeting in Bollywood. Reports also suggest that he would be teaming up with Bollywood script writer Rensil D’Silva.
