Mallika sherawat is back in the news with her super hot car washing scene in upcoming movie Love, Barack. In this movie, Mallika is opposite Laz Alonso. She plays a volunteer coordinator on Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, who falls in love with her counterpart on John McCain’s campaign, played by Alonso. Previously Neha Dhupia in Sheesha and Koena Mitra in Musafir have done these type of scenes.
It wasn’t so much for Aishwarya Rai as for good friend Sanjay Leela Bhansali that super star Salman Khan agreed to watch Guzaarish.
Not just did he agree to watch the film but also invited a lot of people to the special screening. We hear that Bhansali, who is very fond of Salman, willingly sent the actor a print of Guzaarish. He wanted to know what Salman thought of the film.
Besides the entire Khan family and also Salman’s Dabangg co-star Sonakshi Sinha, a lot of people from the industry were also spotted at the movie’s screening.
Former actresses Sadhna, Waheeda Rahman, Nanda and Asha Parekh saw the film.
Though Salman is reported to have liked the movie a lot, he’s avoiding to make a statement in the media because of Ash’s association with the film that stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role.
Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan had been down with malaria lately and has now been admitted to hospital after getting an allergic reaction from the antibiotics he’s been taking.
The actor who’s been getting rave reviews for his performance in Guzaarish was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday afternoon.
Hrithik reportedly developed the allergy after popping in an antibiotic pill before attending the funeral of a paraplegic named Ashutosh with whom Hrithik had spent a lot of time before filming Guzaarish. Ashutosh passed away on Sunday, and Hrithik, despite his poor health, did not want to miss his funeral.
The pill, however, had an allergic reaction, choking Hrithik’s lungs and throat. His lips also swelled.
Doctors at the hospital say Hrithik is now doing fine and will be discharged soon.
The media has admittedly gone overboard in hyperbolizing an apparently innocuous comment made by Deepika Padukone on Karan Johar’s show Koffee With Karan.
In the rapid-fire round on the show hosted by Karan Johar, some of Deepika’s replies were surprising to both the host and the co-guest Sonam Kapoor. When asked what Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika’s ex, should do, Deepika quipped: “Endorse a condom brand.”
The comment was perceived in different ways by the media, with some linking it to Ranbir’s ‘philandering’ ways, while others to Deepika’s grouse against her ex.
Actually, it may be neither. Deepika says in an interview that the comment was made tongue-in-cheek and need to be taken in light vein.
“It's all in good humour. It's not targeted at anybody...there is no negativity towards anyone. People need to have a sense of humour. If I go and sit quietly and be politically correct, it would have been so boring,” said Deepika who is quite surprised at all the brouhaha over her comment.
After her brief stint in Bigg Boss 4, Hollywood hottie Pamela Anderson has flown back to Los Angeles but she’s taken along with her a piece of India. 
Pamela who entered the Bigg Boss house last week in a sexy white sari designed by Ashley Rebello has taken that very sari along. She’s also taken with her the ghaghra choli she wore while dancing with the host Salman Khan to the beat of “Munni Badnaam Hui”.
“I am taking some saris with me. The channel guys were very kind and they gave me two saris. I also wore an Ashley Rebello lehenga-choli for one of the days and I am also taking that with me. I am also taking three sarongs and a churidar-kurta set. I feel Indian drapes are very beautiful, very feminine,” Pamela is quoted to have told a news agency. 
Pamela added that she’s also going to make rotis and Indian style sabzi for her two kids, Brandon (14) and Dylan (13), when she rejoins them.
After her terrific experience in the Bigg Boss house, Pamela is also open to doing a Bollywood film.

It is finally confirmed! The Hindi remake rights of the stupendous success Arundhati, which was earlier eyed by many Bollywood producers including Boney Kapoor, has been finally acquired by Gemini Films Circuit for a whopping amount from producer Shyam Prasad Reddy of Mallemala Entertainments.
According to sources, Aishwarya Rai is being considered for the title role in the Hindi version to be made in 3D format! Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are also in the list, but Aishwarya Rai has more chances, it is said. More details are awaited.
Bollywood Actor Saif Ali Khan joins the vest brigade and goes shirtless. Saif was recently spotted at a studio, shirtless.
And needless to say, the ladies were going ga-ga over his chiselled body. On checking, we learnt that Saif Ali Khan too has joined the bandwagon of actors endorsing vests.
However, the shirtless act is something unique to the actor as he has never ever taken his shirt off for a commercial. By the looks of it, Saif’s worked out pretty heavily for Agent Vinod. We could see his perfect abs, shoulders and back muscles and his arms too looked toned and heavily worked out.

Deepika Padukone who’s appearing with Sonam Kapoor on Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan has a special gift for ‘dear friend’ Ranbir Kapoor.
When Karan Johar asked Deepika what she’d like to gift Ranbir, she replied without batting an eyelid, “a pack of condoms”. And if this wasn’t enough, when asked about what she’d like to say to Katrina Kaif, the lady gave a smart reply, “I’d like to see her passport” :p

Other celebrity guests to attend the dinner were music maestro A.R.Rehman, Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhter. Aamir was overwhelmed when he came to know that the First Lady Michelle Obama has danced to the title number of his blockbuster ‘Rang De Basanti’ in the morning.
He was bombarded with questions from the media persons as soon as he came out at around 10 p.m. “President Obama said he has heard a lot about my work and my films, ” said Aamir adding, “It (the dinner) was an opportunity to meet big personalities. I am a big fan of Manmohan-ji and I am happy that he called me up.”

The movie, written by Ajey Jhankar, is a riveting tale of an impossible love set across two time periods and continents. It is set in the backdrop of the First Anglo-Maratha war of the 18th century and revolves around four characters: a British officer in colonial India and the Indian woman he falls in love with, an American marine biologist and his researcher lover who gets trapped in a wrecked British merchant ship. Singularity is expected to be shot in Australia and India.
